PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a two-component water-borne zinc-rich primer based on epoxy resin and zinc powder.


FEATURES & APPLICATION

  • Good corrosion resistance and high build application;

  • Excellent resistance to abrasions and impacts;

  • Excellent compatibility with water-borne epoxy coats and offer long-term protection;

  • Environment-friendly, without solvent, no danger of fire.


This primer can be used on many types of surfaces, especially suitable for metal surfaces, such as:

  • Steel surfaces: It's suitable for bridges, ships, automobiles, and heavy machinery, etc.

  • Galvanized metals: It's applicable to various galvanized surfaces to enhance corrosion resistance.

  • Aluminum materials: It also provides good protection on aluminum surfaces.

  • Concrete and masonry: In certain cases, with proper treatment and priming, it can also be used on these surfaces.

Before use, one should follow the detailed instructions in the product manual and technical data sheet to ensure optimal primer performance. Some surfaces might require special pre-treatment or a special primer formulation.

APPLICATION GUIDANCE

Application Condition

The temperature is between -5℃~35℃ during application.
The relative humidity of the air should not be greater than 70%.
The metal surface temperature shall not be less than 3℃ above dew point.
